Employment Opportunities

There are currently no opportunities at this time. Thank you for your interest.

Volunteers

Adult volunteer opportunities at the Ramara Public Library are limited at this time.

We do offer a variety of opportunities for youth to complete the community service hours required for high school graduation each program cycle.

To learn more or express interest in future opportunities, please contact the library by phone or email.

Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library raise funds to support programs, resources, and enhanced services for the community. This group of volunteers meets once a month to attend events, hold raffles, host bake sales, and more. Learn more about the group.

Ramara Quilting Club

The Ramara Library Quilting Club began in 2003 when a group of women sharing a passion for quilting decided to meet at the library once a week, to share ideas and work on projects in a group atmosphere.  Before long, they decided to make a quilt together and raffle it, with the proceeds benefitting the Ramara Public Library.  Since then, the group has made and raffled a quilt every year, supporting the Library's Summer Reading Program, and various shelving projects in both branches.

New members are always welcome to join.

For inquiries and schedule information, please contact the library at 705-325-5776 or info@ramarapubliclibrary.org.
