The Ramara Public Library Wants You
Student Volunteers
We would like to extend an opportunity to secondary students to participate in many different library activities. This will assist students in meeting their 40 hours of community service as part of the Ontario Secondary School diploma requirements.
We want to encourage students to develop an understanding of the various aspects of the library, which can lead to stronger ties within our community.
Adult Volunteers
Volunteer @ yourlibrary!™
The library invites you to share your volunteer time! We have several opportunities available:
- Library Page: Help by shelving library material and keeping everything in proper sequence.
- Program Assistant: Help staff plan, develop and implement educational programs for the children of our community.
- Volunteer Coordinator: Train and schedule volunteers. Develop and implement a volunteer orientation package for new volunteers.
