Historical Documents

Enjoy reading through local historical documents housed in our
steel cabinet. If you have any local items that you wish to donate, the
library would be happy to house them!
Please note the lovely hand-made quilt that is hung above the cabinet.
This quilt embodies the work of young and old in the township and commemorates
1900 to 1999, the International Year of the Older Person and 2000-The
New Millennium.
Many seniors were brought together with young children from our local
schools (Brechin Public, Foley Separate, Rama Central and Uptergrove Public)
to create this wonderful piece. Each school was given 16 block squares
and was instructed to paint their ideas on the three themes. The squares
show a wonderful array of art & imagination illustrating their school
life, loyalty to Canada and the area in which they live.
We invite you to come in & see this lovely quilt. Bring your children
to the Ramara Centre Library so they can enjoy their wonderful work!
