Under CAP, public locations like schools, libraries and community centres act as access points to the Internet and provide computer training and support.

What is CAP?

The Community Access Program (CAP) is an initiative developed to help provide Canadians with affordable public access to the Internet and the skills to use it effectively. Under CAP, public sites such as this Library act as "on-ramps" to the Information Highway and provide support on how to make the best use of the Internet.

How does it work?

The government of Canada and Industry Canada has provide funding for access to the Internet at this library making it available to patrons. Internet use & training on how to use the Internet is available to every one.

Besides Internet access patrons can:

When can I access it?

The CAP site can be accessed any time during the open hours. We recommend you call ahead to book  your computer time or personalized training session. Also people wanting to learn to use the Internet can call and book a one hour lesson.
